ORDERING AND DELIVERY

Ordering machined parts from Turkey: an overseas buyer’s guide

Prepare drawings, material specifications, quantities and delivery responsibilities when sourcing parts from Sakarya, Turkey for an overseas project.

ENS Makina San · Manufacturing guides · Updated:

ENS Makina San is based in Sakarya, Türkiye and accepts domestic and international manufacturing enquiries. You can start remotely with drawings or sample information, material and quantity rather than visiting the workshop for the first discussion.

Prepare an international RFQ

Identify the current drawing revision and units, especially if documents use different measurement systems. Include the material definition, quantities by part code, functional requirements, inspection and requested documentation. State the delivery country, city and target date rather than assuming a standard shipping arrangement.

Separate manufacturing from delivery responsibilities

Packaging, transport, insurance and customs responsibilities should be clarified during quotation. No one arrangement should be assumed for all countries. A production enquiry does not by itself confirm every certificate, destination-specific requirement or commercial delivery term.

One-off parts and sample shipments

Small quantities can be requested; setup and transport may have a different effect on total cost than for a larger batch. If a physical sample is needed, agree receiving contact, address and return conditions before shipping. Photographs support the first discussion but do not replace the intended dimensional definition.

Before releasing the order

Confirm drawing revision, quantity, material, included processes, inspection and delivery responsibilities against the same quotation. If first-part approval is required, agree when the remaining batch can begin. Review manufacturing in Turkey and the RFQ checklist before contacting us.
