Sourcing custom machine parts in Türkiye: an RFQ checklist

Prepare a clear supplier enquiry with drawings, revision control, quantities, material and delivery requirements.

ENS Makina San · Manufacturing guides

A useful RFQ for custom machine parts in Türkiye brings drawings, quantities, materials, revisions and acceptance requirements into one consistent package. For an international buyer, it should also identify the company location and requested delivery destination so commercial arrangements can be discussed before a commitment.

ENS Makina San is a workshop in Sakarya, Türkiye, offering turning, CNC enquiries, welded fabrication and mechanical maintenance. Contact does not imply established export, worldwide delivery or foreign-language sales capacity; confirm project arrangements directly.

Prepare a consistent drawing package

Give each component a unique part number and reference the current drawing revision. Keep quantities and material designations in a part list. If a 3D model is included, identify the controlling document for dimensions and tolerances.

Information Why the supplier needs it
Part number and revision Match the quotation to the correct design
Quantity Assess material and setup requirements
Material designation Review sourcing and machining suitability
Critical dimensions Define functional and inspection requirements
Surface or external processes Separate included work from exclusions
Requested destination and date Discuss commercial and scheduling requirements

Define acceptance rather than asking for maximum precision

Mark functional dimensions and interfaces. State any required inspection report or documentation before quotation. Do not assume that a workshop quotation includes every document or external process without an explicit scope.

For welded assemblies, clarify mounting surfaces and any machining after welding. Welded fabrication and custom machined parts may need separate scope items even when they belong to one assembly.

Clarify first-part and repeat-order expectations

If the design may change after assembly testing, state how first-part approval and drawing revisions will be managed. Repeat production should refer to an agreed revision. A sample or previous delivery is not a substitute for clear acceptance requirements.

Make commercial questions explicit

Before order placement, clarify quotation currency, delivery scope, payment, packaging, responsibility for any external processes and required documents. These are project questions, not capabilities assumed from the supplier’s country or website language.

Send the enquiry by email or WhatsApp

Email drawings and the part list to info@ensmakinasan.com. For an initial conversation, WhatsApp +90 552 375 7354 is available. A useful opening message is: “We need a quotation for [quantity] × [part number/revision] in [material]. Our requested destination is [location] and target date is [date].”

Send a quotation enquiry or review CNC turning. Feasibility, terms and timing are confirmed for the individual project.
