ENS Makina San · Manufacturing guides · Updated:
A sample helps explain an existing part, but it does not necessarily preserve its original dimensions or material identity. Start a replacement enquiry with photographs, available measurements, the part’s function and information about mating components.
What should you send first?
List the machine function, damaged areas, known dimensions, quantity and destination. Add old drawings, part codes or material records if available. A scale in a photograph can support discussion but does not replace production measurements. Do not dismantle equipment outside the appropriate safe procedures and authorised personnel.
Separate wear from intended dimensions
A worn bushing bore or damaged shaft seat may differ from its intended size. Copying that measurement can reproduce the problem. Consider the mating component and explain excessive clearance, binding or other symptoms. The intended production dimensions and acceptance requirements need agreement before work begins.
What if the material is unknown?
State that clearly. Colour and appearance do not establish an exact grade. Share any older specification or document. The required investigation and material decision form a separate part of the technical discussion; no particular analysis service should be assumed included.
Agree the sample and approval process
Discuss whether physical review is necessary before shipping a sample. Confirm receiving contact, address and return arrangements. Define the dimensions, material and any assembly approval used to release production. A single replacement and a repeat supply requirement should be described separately.
Next step
Review sample-based production and custom replacement parts. For a drawing-based requirement, use the drawing guide. Send technical files by email; the RFQ form accepts a project summary rather than file uploads.

Sık sorulan sorular
Can a photograph provide exact production dimensions?
No. It supports the initial discussion; intended dimensions and acceptance features must be defined separately.
Should the dimensions of a worn sample be copied?
Not automatically. Wear, mating components and the intended function need review before production dimensions are agreed.
Can I send a sample from overseas?
Discuss shipping arrangements first. Confirm whether a physical sample is needed, who receives it and the return conditions.
