Shafts provide bearing seats, connections and motion-transfer features within machinery. ENS Makina San manufactures custom shafts from drawings or sample information. Shoulder positions, mating components and relationships between functional surfaces matter alongside the main diameter.
Request a quoteIs diameter and overall length enough?
Main diameter and length are starting information. Bearing seats, steps, grooves, threads and connection regions complete the definition. Available clamping surfaces and tool access influence the machining plan. Long, slender or heavily stepped geometry requires a drawing-based suitability review.
New shafts and worn-shaft replacement
For a sample-based replacement, identify damaged regions and mating components. The measured diameter of a worn bearing seat is not automatically the intended replacement dimension. Relationships with bearings, bushings, couplings or other components need clarification before production.
Material and finishing sequence
Specify the grade when requesting steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass or bronze. Selection depends on operating loads and environment as well as machining. If heat treatment or coating is required, agree the sequence and the subsequent dimensional checks.
Enquiries from Türkiye and overseas
ENS Makina San is based in Sakarya, Türkiye and accepts manufacturing enquiries from Türkiye and international customers. State the destination country, packaging needs and transport expectations in your RFQ.
Email your drawing to info@ensmakinasan.com or discuss your project on WhatsApp. If your drawing is not ready, start with photographs or sample information. Confirm the receiving address and contact before sending a physical sample.
Prepare your RFQ
- 01Bearing seats
- Intended diameter, tolerance and mating component information.
- 02Shoulders and connections
- Step positions, grooves, threads and assembly location.
- 03Operating conditions
- Material, load and environment; any finishing requirements.
How your enquiry is assessed
Send the technical information
Share the current drawing or sample information, material, quantity and delivery destination together.
Agree the scope
Machining suitability, critical features, secondary operations and inspection requirements are reviewed against one technical definition.
Quotation and production planning
Production is planned after agreement on price, the approved revision and delivery conditions.
Manufacturing and ordering questions
Can you manufacture a shaft from a sample?
Yes, send sample information. Damaged features and mating parts are considered when agreeing intended dimensions and material.
Can I send only diameter and length?
These support an initial discussion. Steps, connections, functional surfaces and tolerances are also needed to define the scope.
Which shaft materials can I enquire about?
Steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and bronze can be requested. Grade and geometric suitability are reviewed with the drawing.
Is heat treatment automatically included?
No. Heat treatment, coating and checks after secondary processing need to be stated separately in the RFQ.
